ITINERARY

The exciting adventure begins at our meeting point, whether you have purchased our package with round-trip transportation or decide to arrive on your own.

Our excursion starts at 7:00 a.m. m. upon arriving at our port of departure, where we will proceed with your registration and offer you a light breakfast. If you prefer to have breakfast at your accommodation, we advise you to be moderate, since too much food can be uncomfortable during the trip.
Later, we will organize the group into pairs, making up 10 members per boat. Once you board the boat, our team will cordially welcome you and provide you with the necessary equipment. While our captain begins the journey and receives weather information, the sailor will instruct you in detail and provide the regulatory guidelines, highlighting that the use of a life jacket is mandatory.
The duration of the tour will largely depend on the sighting the previous day, since this excursion is based on the observation of a species whose location is not fixed. However, we have planes that fly over the area early in the morning to facilitate location.
Once the coordinates are established, the navigation will be carried out directly to the designated place, with an estimated duration that can range between 1 hour and 30 minutes and 3 hours.
The rules to follow are simple: the sailor will organize the pairs so that they are ready to dive and swim with this majestic species. It is imperative to remember that it is prohibited to touch the shark, as this could make it uncomfortable and cause it to move away, harming not only your group, but all the boats that, professionally, take turns for this activity. This process will be repeated twice per pair or until the swimming experience is completed.
At the end of the swimming experience, we will say goodbye to the sharks and return to Isla Mujeres to enjoy a maximum time of 1 hour and 30 minutes on North Beach. However, it is important to note that the possibility of snorkeling in the Ixla-Che Reef National Park will depend on the location of the sighting and the experience of swimming with the whale shark. For both options, our team will be in charge of preparing a delicious fresh ceviche, accompanied by guacamole, tortilla chips, sandwiches and seasonal fruits. Drinks such as bottled water and complimentary soft drinks are included within the tour. If you want alcoholic beverages, these will have an additional cost and will be subject to the captain’s approval, since they can only be consumed after the first swimming activity with the shark.
At the end, we will return to the starting point. Those who have requested transportation from their hotel will be escorted to their units, while those who arrived on their own will be guided to the parking lot. It is essential to remember that if the activity ends on the North Beach of Isla Mujeres, you will be able to disembark and return to Cancun on your own.
